some days ago i was talking to ivo about his work with refrigerator. that reminds me of a german artist pablo wandel.

I first get known to this artist not with his cactus but his "famous" performing art -- he disguised as a terracotta warrior (some important ancient chinese s
culptures). i think that's really cool!

Homo-erotische Jezus veroorzaakt kunstrel

Wenen, 9 april. Een expositie in Wenen van homo-erotische schilderijen van Jezus en zijn apostelen, van de hand van de tachtigjarige kunstenaar Alfred Hrdlicka, heeft gelovigen in Oostenrijk en in andere delen van de wereld van hun stuk gebracht.

De artiest exposeert in nota bene het museum van de rooms-katholieke Stehanskathedraal van Wenen, met instemming van kardinaal Christoph Schoenborn. De kerk heeft een voorstelling van een homoseksuele orgie van de apostelen al wel laten verwijderen, maar de kritiek houdt aan. Museumdirecteur Bernhard Boehler verdedigt de expositie: ,,Ik zie geen blasfemie. Mensen kunnen erin zien wat ze willen.'' Er hangt onder meer ook een schilderij van de kruisiging, waarbij een soldaat Christus slaat en tegelijk in het kruis vat. Volgens de directeur moet kunst nu eenmaal debat uitlokken.

For a whole year, Ivannah took one picture of the sky everyday at 1pm. She is going to make a dome and put all the photos (365 images?) on the celling.
